The Day we Left our Mark on the World

So the two girls starring in this epic road trip are Janae from Boise and Sara from Tucson.  Long ago they met on a backpacking trip and became fast friends.  They have decided to test their kindred spirits in the refiners fire aka a 13 day road trip to Glacier National Park, Banff Canaadian National Park, Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Seattle.  (I said epic and I meant it).


From the very beginning of the trip it has already been an adventure.  Sara started it off by flying to Boise while simultaneously helping a child near her with a gushing bloody nose and giving advice to a mother with a single son who is struggling with being single.

She finally arrived and the next day the real adventure began as they went to pick up the trailer.   The older gentleman explained the ins and outs of the trailer and hitched it to Janae's vehicle.  Janae gently suggested that it wasn't hitched properly but he declined to believe her.  As our two heroines drove away they hit a bump 100 yards from the gentleman's house and that trailer sure became unhitched right fast.   The metal pole scratched a foot long gouging scar in the black asphalt. (Cool huh?!) The ladies jumped out of their vehicle and 2 Idaho mosquito control men came gallantly to their rescue.  The trailer was rehitched and the ladies resumed their adventure.



Driving through miles of  forest and orange cone construction zones, the ladies are behind schedule but will make it to Glacier in the morning!!!  Stay tuned for the next episode of 2 Girls a trailer and a Glacier!!!
